Lives Around the World - Complete KS3 Geography Lesson Pack
Everything you need to teach lives around the world at KS3 — two complete resources, full answer keys, and no preparation required. This lesson pack covers physical and human geography, GDP per capita, inequality, Kenya's climates and informal settlements for students aged 11-14.
Lives around the world is a KS3 geography topic about how people in different places really live. Geographers combine statistics, photographs and interviews, because an average such as GDP per capita (a country's yearly output divided by its population) cannot show how any one family lives.
📦 The main worksheet contains 16 questions worth 100 marks across three progressive sections: key terms and the three families (30 marks); definitions, a sorting table and written explanations (40 marks); and three extended tasks on averages, Kibera and the UK (30 marks). The extension pack provides four enrichment activities — 12-mark vocabulary matching, a 25-mark challenge quiz, a 20-mark Paraisópolis case study and a rubric-assessed Teach It Back task. Full answer keys are included for everything. Everything comes as a PDF and an editable Word file (DOCX).
